Application:

The Radiation Detection Vehicle is designed for the measurement of nuclear radiation, sampling of contaminated terrain and marking of contaminated areas.

The vehicle can be used for any incident requiring the checking and detection of radioactive material.

The vehicle is based on the chassis of an 3.5 ton vehicle.

The cargo space is separated into 2 areas:

a working area.

a rear device storage area.

Working area:

The working area is in the middle of the vehicle and contains:

a cupboard system

a desk with fixed seat

a fold-away seat

all gaps are sealed to allow humid decontamination

side walls are insulated

Device Storage Area:

The device storage area is in the rear of the vehicle. It contains a shelf system with drawers and storage boxes enabling the equipment to be stored properly. The shelf height can be adjusted to accommodate the different sizes of the equipment to be stored.
