SimpleDetection paper is used to detect liquid contamination by placing the paper in contact with the suspect surface. The colour of the contaminated detection paper can then be compared to the colour chart supplied. When a similar colour to the chart is seen, this indicates the presence of a chemical agent. Detection paper comes in booklets and can be adhesive or non-adhesive. Detection paper is fielded in the NATO Forces.
