DECOFOG is a decontamination unit which is light and easy to transport, requires minimal training, needs only a few seconds of set-up time and is simple to operate.

The unit can be started and left to operate without any assistance. This means one person can operate several DECOFOGs simultaneously.

DECOFOG is a thermal fogger which is used to produce a fog from decontamination or disinfection solutions in 1 - 4μm particles. The fog permeates into crevices and hidden areas which liquids cannot reach.


GD-5 solution is especially designed to be used with the decofogger and can be used for sensitive equipment, interiors of buildings and vehicles.

GD-5 decontaminates all known chemical and biological warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals.

GD-5 is non-corrosive and non-conductive and as effectiveas DS-2.

GD-5 has a minimum shelf life of 10 years.

    Technical Description:

    The unit works on the principle of the pulse-jet and does not have any mechanically moving parts. By pressing the primer or starting button, a fuel/air mixture is produced in the carburetor and blown into the combustion chamber, where it is ignited by the spark plug.

    A pulsating combustion forms at approximately 80 to 100 explosions per second, and is controlled by an air diaphragm valve and an adjustable fuel screw on the carburetor.

    The pulse of hot air is forced into the exhaust tube and accelerated towards the end. Decontamination solution is then fed into the exhaust tube where the thermal pulse of hot air turns the solution into a fog.
